Preparing for your dog vacation: What you should consider
Before you go on vacation with your dog, you should make a few preparations to avoid unpleasant surprises:
- Check entry requirements: Find out about the country-specific regulations (vaccinations, listed dogs, muzzle requirement).
- Check vaccination certificate: Check that your dog's vaccinations are up to date and have them updated if necessary.
- Inform accommodation: Clarify in advance whether your dog is welcome in the accommodation and whether there are any special rules.
- Find a vet in your holiday destination: Find a vet near your accommodation in case of an emergency.
- Dog liability insurance: Write down your dog liability insurance number and have it handy.
